Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
Gauntlyt is a service provided by Gauntlyt ("we", "us", "our"), operated from the United States, and your contract for the service is with Gauntlyt. By creating an account or continuing to use the site you agree to these terms. If you are using Gauntlyt on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it; if you are using it as an individual you confirm you are of legal age to enter this agreement where you live.
Seller: Gauntlyt. Operated from the United States. Contact: gauntlyt@gmail.com. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
2. What Gauntlyt is
Gauntlyt scores a startup idea across six trials and returns written feedback, a verdict, suggested next steps, and an optional mentor conversation. It is a thinking tool for early founders, not a professional service.
3. Feedback is an opinion, not advice
Scores and critiques are generated by an AI model and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Nothing here is legal, financial, tax, or investment advice, and it should not be relied on without your own judgement. Decisions about your idea, your money, and your business remain yours.
The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.
4. Your ideas stay yours
You keep all rights to the ideas, text, and files you submit, and you grant us a limited licence to host and process that content only to operate the product for you. We retain ownership of Gauntlyt itself, including its software, content, design, and branding.
5. Your account and age
Keep your login details private and give accurate information when you sign up. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing up you confirm that you are 13 or older. If we learn that someone under 13 has created an account, we will close it. Depending on where you live, the age at which you can lawfully consent to data processing may be higher; if so, get a parent or guardian first.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Gauntlyt unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, or to interfere with its security, including malware, probing, scraping, or circumventing usage limits or paid features. Do not resell or redistribute the service or reverse engineer it.
7. Community rules and content removal
Bases and shared verdicts are public spaces. Do not post harassment, hate, spam, other people's private information, or content you do not have the right to share.
You can report any post, comment, or shared verdict you think breaks these rules, and we may remove content or restrict access to community features for anyone who does. We reserve the right to remove content, hide posts or shared verdicts, or suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, spam, harassment, illegal content, repeated or serious policy violations, or where we are legally required to.
8. Copyright and takedown
We respect intellectual property. If you believe content on Gauntlyt infringes your copyright, send a notice to gauntlyt@gmail.com with: your contact details, a description of the copyrighted work you own, the URL of the content on Gauntlyt you believe is infringing, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and a physical or electronic signature. We will review valid notices and remove or disable access to the material. We will also consider counter-notices from the person who posted the content. This is not legal advice; for a formal process, consult a lawyer.
9. Payments, plans, and renewals
Coin packs are one-time purchases. Pro plans are subscriptions that renew automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account and keep Pro access until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices are shown on our pricing page in US dollars, excluding any local tax added at checkout.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Our own refund commitment, a 30 day money-back guarantee, is set out in our Refund Policy.
10. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, for material breach of these terms, non-payment or a failed or reversed charge, suspected fraud or a security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can stop using Gauntlyt and delete your account and its data at any time from your settings.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your content or your unlawful use of the service.
13. Changes, law, and contact
Gauntlyt may change or be unavailable at times, and we may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, and any dispute will be heard by the competent courts there. Questions about these terms: gauntlyt@gmail.com
