Cookie preferences

What Gauntlyt keeps in your browser, and the one part you control. Change it any time; nothing else about your account is affected. Read the cookie policy.

Essential

Always on

Your sign-in session, your saved idea draft, and small UI choices like whether you have seen the intro tour. Without these you would be signed out on every page.

Payment

Only at checkout

Set by our payment provider while you buy coins or Pro, to process the payment and prevent fraud. They are not set if you never open checkout.

What cookies and storage are

Cookies are small files your browser stores on your device. Gauntlyt also uses local storage, which works the same way but holds a bit more, like a draft of an idea you started before signing in. You control both from your browser settings, and you can clear them any time.

Essential storage

We store your login session so you stay signed in between visits, and a local draft of an idea you started before you signed in so you do not lose it. We also remember a few UI choices, like whether you have seen the intro tour and whether you have accepted cookies. These are needed for the site to work; without them you would have to sign in again on every page.

Analytics storage

We run our own, first-party analytics to count how the product is used, so we can improve it. These events are stored on your device and sent to us without third-party trackers. If you turn on the anonymity setting in Setup, your events are unlinked from your account. We never use advertising or marketing cookies.

Payment cookies

When you buy coins or a Pro plan, our payment provider, Paddle, sets its own cookies during checkout to process your payment, prevent fraud, and remember your details across the purchase. Paddle controls these cookies under its own privacy notice at paddle.com/legal/privacy.

Your choices

When you first visit, we ask for your consent to non-essential storage; you can accept or decline, and change your mind any time from the banner or your browser settings. Essential and payment cookies are needed for the parts of the site you are actually using. Clearing cookies will sign you out and reset your draft. Questions: gauntlyt@gmail.com.
